Experience
Mary first met Patrick Lencioni and was introduced to the Table Group’s “simple wisdom” in 2003, when she participated in an off-site led by Pat and Jeff Gibson for the HCA CIO and her team. Over the next six years, Mary participated in four additional off-sites with the HCA IT&S leadership team. The team practiced the Table Group disciplines on a daily basis, therefore Mary has firsthand experience in applying these approaches and truly understanding the impact they can have on a team and an entire organization.
Mary became a Table Group Consultant full-time in 2009 so she could fulfill her passion for creating highly effective teams and organizations where people have the freedom to contribute their best work each and every day.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Mary in two capacities – first, as a consultant with Omega Point Consulting, and, then as a member of my HCA IT&S senior leadership team for over seven years. Mary is a thoughtful, intelligent, and energetic executive and leader. She is a skilled facilitator and architect of organization change. As my Vice President of IT Strategy, Planning and Organizational Effectiveness, I relied on Mary to frame and oversee many important change projects and other aspect of my vision for IT&S.
HCA IT&S is also a Table Group client. My team and I have worked with Pat and Jeff Gibson for over five years now. I practice and lead my team with the Table Group disciplines that we learned at our off-sites – the meeting structures, the thematic goal, and many more. As a result, Mary has a unique perspective of the Table Group approach from both sides of the table – first as a client and now as a Consulting Partner.”
—Noel Williams, CIO and SVP, HCA Healthcare
“I had the privilege of working with Mary at HCA for seven years, where she served as Vice President of Strategy and Planning as well as Vice President of Field Operations. She advanced our maturity as an IT organization through many proactive, innovative initiatives. She is a very intelligent, energetic, innovative, and capable leader, and designed and implemented many significant organization and operational change initiatives for HCA.”
—Chris Pair, Vice President, HCA Healthcare
“Mary is the ultimate change agent and her work at HCA will pay benefits to our organization for many years to come. As a colleague, Mary demonstrated our key values: accountability, ingenuity, confidence and courage on a consistent manner and then helped our organization to formally embrace these values as part of our new mission, vision and values framework.”
—Marty Paslick, Vice President, Field Operations, HCA Healthcare
